Scary and Hairy Halloween Hotdogs
These Scary and Hairy Halloween Hotdogs are awesome for Halloween – sausages with WORMS!
They have been like a “virus” on the internet for years now. I made them some times before we became vegans and had not really thought of making them with vegan sausages until my 9 year old daughter wanted them for her birthday dinner recently.
- Vegan sausages, use your favorite brand, but I recommend using the biggest/thickest sausages you can find
- Uncooked pasta, broken in 2-3 parts depending on the length of the sausages
This is how you do it:
Divide the sausages into 2 or 3 pieces.
Boil water with a little salt in a large pot. Poke the spaghetti gently through the sausages, I used approx. 4-5 “sticks” in each sausage.
Put the sausages in the boiling water and let them boil until the spaghetti is al dente. Take them out of the water and server. We cooked some extra spaghetti on the side and served with tomato sauce (and ketchup for my little special 4 year old).
